    • Martin and Monia child is dying for some unknown, unexplainable reason

    • They “imprint” on the kid - once he is imprinted they cant give him back or he will be destroyed

      • Son is constantly watching the mom- bro chill out

    • Kid begins to imitate the parents actions

  • The mom begins seeing the robot as her son

    • After imprinting, david calls her mommy 

    • He's a toy vs hes a gift

      • He shattered her perfume bottle - short supply

      • Mommy will you die - i’ll be alone

    • Gives David Martin's old toy- is 50 years a long time?

    • The aliens can see into his past mind as if he had a memory, which he does technically 

      • The aliens give him a dream world like his old home

    • The aliens want him to be happy because they want his memories

      • Physical sample to bring person back

  • David you are the lasting memory of the human race, that's why they want david to be happy

Pinocchio 

  • Maestro Antonio or Maestro Cherry 

    • Found a piece of wood that talks, gives it to his friend Geppetto 

    • In this story, Pinocchio was sentient from the start

      • Named pinocchio for good luck

      • Nose also grew from the start

    • Geppetto goes to JAIL for trying to make pinocchio behave

  • Pinnocchio finds the Talking Cricket - tells him he won't be happy because he doesn't obey his father

    • Pinnochio wants to be a frat boy, cricket tells him some logical solutions

    • PINNOCHIO KILLS THE CRICKET

  • Pinnoccio and Geppetto reunite -> promises to be a good boy

    • Pinnochio immediately fucks up, sells the book that Geppetto sold his coat for, and goes into the marionette theater 

    • I don't want to die, i don't want to die ~ same as flesh party in AI 

      • Fire Eater forgives Pinnochio 

  • The CAt and the fox advise pinocchio to not go to school

    • Bird tell Pinnochio not to listen and he gets fucking eaten

    • They tell pin that he can plant his coins and they will grow into a plant - he believes them and goes with them - Field of Wonders

    • The ghost of the cricket warns pinocchio, but he does not listen 

      • BRO THEY HANG HIM?!

    • Blue fairy saves him from the tree

    • As pinocchio lies to blue fairy, his nose grows

    • He immediately gets tricked by the cat and fox again

    • Goes to jail and escapes

    • SHE DIED OF GRIEF BECAUSE PINOCCHIO LEFT HER

    • Ok jk she isn't dead- pinocchio wants to be a real boy now (we are halfway through)

  • Land of Toys (pleasure island)

    • Lamp-wick convinced pinocchio to come with him instead of turning into a real bo

The episode I chose to analyze from Love, Death, and Robots was the episode “Pop Squad” from Volume 2.      Pop Squad is set in a dystopian future where immortality is a real possibility, overpopulation has led to harsh restriction of resources, including offspring. It follows the story of a detective whose job is to kill unregistered kids. It was directed by Franck Balson and Jennifer Yuh Nelson, and written by Paolo Bacigalupi, Philip Gelatt, and Tim Miller. The story is based on the short story by the same name in Paolo Bacigalupi’s anthology book, Pump Six and Other Stories, published in 2008 . The stories in his book all seem to contain warnings for humanity. A little bit about me! Name: Abigail Wilson (she/her) I am a sophomore, I'm from Toledo, Ohio, and I'm a Marine Science-Biology major with an environmental science minor.  I love the oceans and everything nature. Don't ask me what my favorite animal is, because I have a massive list. My three favorite fish are: 1. Yellow Headed Jaw Fish 2. Black Triggerfish 3. Any kind of parrot fish!  I would consider myself a geek. I love books, movies, video games, and superheroes, ever since I was a little kid.  One of my favorite genre's to read about is science fiction, so I am very excited for this course. The Duality between Decker and Nick Valentine (Creative Process for Collage)

“I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.” While watching Blade Runner, we were struck by how similar the story was to a lot of the science fiction media we consume. Through research, we discovered that “Do androids dream of Electric Sheep?” by Philip K. Dick was likely the core source of inspiration for not only Blade Runner, but all the media we were reminded of. For me, Deckard reminded me a lot of Nick Valentine, an android detective with implanted memories. Fallout 4 - Abbie - Nick Valentine versus Deckard  “Because I was Nick Valentine.
